Welcome 2008 with LOVE & JOY :D :D :D

Firstly, this would be the year I’ve travelled the most, wasted the most money out of my parents’ pocket but on another hand, I haven’t been getting allowance from them the entire year because I have supporting myself from the pay I get from B&J’s, temporary jobs from Citibank and DFS. Financially, Joyys has been a thrifty girl, not when it comes to food and most specifically junk food.

Studies have been pretty smooth sailing, have been very consistent in doing tutorials, afterall it might be the very last time I am studying, that’s if I don’t get a place in any of the local universities, which is quite likely. Regardless of the end results, I have chosen to work harder for the semestral exams.

My family has been very healthy and happy, not very happening though. But its better to be less happening than to have bad bad news. Low family has not been gathering much but hopefully 2008 will be a year full of warmth.

Relationships haven’t been really smooth for me, lost someone but gained someone else who deserved my love more, someone who has done a lot for me, someone who will always be there. Overall, Joyys is a strong & contented girl.

Fostered a couple of friendships this year of which I will certainly treasure. My bonds with NSE, with TEAM SB, more new friends in school, in B&J’s will always be remembered. Other than friends, together with my very straight forward and very arrogant attitude, I managed to make a few foes as well. Don’t tell me making friends is better than foes, I never believe in doing things I hate and trying to befriend people I dislike.

Has been the most hectic year, its even worse than coping with my O levels. Time was never enough and I find myself running faster to go with the pace things around me are moving.

Mar / Apr - NZ trip: The trip which allows me to become very dependent, saw the fears of studying abroad, gaining very valuable experience, knowing more friends and seen the different sides of humans.

June - 19^th Birthday: Celebrated my 19^th birthday, the last birthday before the tens place make a massive change.

July / Aug - NSE Intercons: The time when all the hard work in trainings paid off, got 4^th in the whole intercons games.

Aug / Sept - Cambodia (Challenge your perspectives): The most meaningful thing in my life, spread the love among orphans, gone through a whole series of events with all my other 17 mates, made more new friends and the best trip in the entire year.

Oct - Intercons with TEAM SB: Every single individual contribute to the intercons games, despite it being very biased. The whole team braved through every match and our teamwork is certainly commendable. Achieved Gold for NAPFA as well (:

Nov - The sportiest month!

Dec - Genting & KL Trip: Fruitful and wonderful trip with all the cool friends! Lovely xmas spent with relatives and xmas eve with some loved one. Achievers’ function: An event which reminded me that my poly life is ending soon!

My resolution for 2008 will be to

• Get the best results ever in my last poly semester.
• Hopefully I can get my driving license.
• Play harder for Team NSE
• Travel more with my loved ones
• Foster more worthwhile friendships
