Had a terrifying day, I freaking went under the knife today, no, it wasnt plastic surgery. It was a last minute decision, was at NDC when they told me the root canal treatment failed because apparently I was eating too much junk food and the bones of the tooth was very brittle, they had to remove it. So much for my efforts trying to save tooth number 17 (they actually named my tooth) Tooth number 17 officially fractured & had to be extracted.

Was forced to remove the tooth & so I agreed to the simple extraction, thinking after that extraction I can jolly well go back to work. I was so freaking wrong, the extraction fail to remove all the bones & roots underneath. At 10.30am, I was waiting for my mummy to sign the consent because I am not of legal age.

Honestly speaking, I was a little afraid but my dearest was waiting for me all along & giving me the support I really need. Being very childish, I totally had no idea what's gonna happen next. Though it was just a minor operation, I had to be changed & followed all the standard procedures for an operation. Dr Soong was pulling that stubborn tooth out but he mentioned that I was one of the best patients because I could open my mouth for very long -_-''' He tried umpteen times to distract me & he even told me tooth number 17 had a long history, I felt that I was in good hands.

Had X-ray as well because I need to know whether my wisdom teeth are out & I only had 2 lower wisdom teeth & they grew out pretty nicely, which is rare for Asians according to Dr Soong. He also assured that it had nothing to do with my intelligence because I was asking if it means my intelligence was 50% below the norms -_-'''

Mummy waited outside with a ghostly look, its as though she's doing the operation. At 12nn, the operation was finally over. Didnt realise I was under the knife, all the drilling sounds were pretty normal for dental appointments but this time, I was in the operating theatre, scary! Will still have to go back next week to remove the stitches, phew! Felt a little dizzy, took medicine, had 5 days of MC & headed home with my dearest.

He chionged DVD while I spent my time resting since the right side of my face is swollen. Thanks my dearest for waking up at 6am & accompanying the entire day especially when waiting for my mummy and taking good care of me, making sure I was well & fine.

Its my first operation, I seriously pray for it to be the last. Dear readers, please take great care of your teeth, oral hygience is really important (:

P.S. Wanted to post pictures of the fragments and remaining tooth structure but its just too gross, I know nobody wants to see it. Doubt me? Ask my siblings or boyf (:
