Reference Data & our blessings for SG! (:

Hey, it seems like everyone's in the Beijing Olympics mood. Everytime you tuned in to the radio or tvee programmes, they're just reporting the latest information or someone from somewhere has broken the world record. Urm, I'm not being a wet blanket here but so what if your country has clinched a gold medal when the sportsperson is not of your same roots, or to put it bluntly, they all belonged to China. Its literally Beijing Olympics since almost all the athletes of the table tennis team comes from China, they're just representing different countries.

Whats the big deal if Spore will achieve the first gold medal in 48 years? It simply means we're losing 1million bucks in exchange for this gold medal clinched by someone, someone foreign to be exact. Is this fame worthwhile? I doubt so, at least in my personal opinion.

I've learnt a lesson yesterday. While working in White Sands in the past, I will always see this lady selling some charity tickets outside the mall. & somehow I know she earns commission from selling those tickets & kinda despise her for that reason. Met her on 969 yesterday, she was with this old blind man, whom I reckon is her husband. At that moment, I felt a tad too guilty for blaming her for earning the commission because I know she needs it to support the family.

Sometimes it only takes me longer to read more into things before concluding the person's character (:
